Tired of joining prompt communities and not getting the story/art you're looking for, despite your prompt?

Disappointed in authors/artists who get assigned your work, and don't fill your prompt in the way you'd really like it filled?

fma_cya is for you.

Based on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel the Series community of cya_ficathon, the rules are a little different from the average exchange, but still pretty simple. For now, I will collect completed forms from each person who wants to participate. Once the deadline is up, I will be posting each form anonymously for you to review. You will get a chance to choose three of those participants and give a prompt to each (the prompt can be the same for each participant, if you'd like), and I, in turn, will send one of the participants your prompt to complete. By June, all art and stories will be posted, and hopefully, everyone will have profited!

You should also check here for the Rules first, and then, if you have any questions, please feel free to leave them here.

1) Everyone who participates must fill out the following form:

2) Once the Participant List is posted (this will be sometime after 15 April), you will choose three participants (no more, no less).

3) Leave your requests (max. three, one per participant) as a reply to that post. Note: You can offer the same request for each participant, if you want.

4) Your assignment should be in your mail box within the next two weeks.

5) While there will always be an official deadline, works can be posted prior to that date.

6) A completed fic would be a minimum of 1,500 words. A completed work of art would be an "inked"/colored piece; or, if you're so inspired, a doujin.

Note: FMA_CYA has an AO3 archive, FMA_CYA. If you have an account with Archive of Our Own, you can post your work there, as well.

Please remember that anonymity is the key. Your name/links to your previous works will not be included in the above form. People will choose you based on your 'interview'.

If you're interested, go ahead and complete the form (any comments are screened). Sign ups will close on April 15th. You are not required to have a Live Journal account to take part in this, just an email address so I can contact you. Feel free to spread the word! A banner link is below.

ETA: Screening is now on (this is what happens when you add and subtract various things). Sorry!
